Poptropica is releasing Twisted Thicket Island to all Poptropicans today, May 2nd! Many of you may be wondering “Why isn’t Twisted Thicket out yet?” or “When does Twisted Thicket come out?”. Well, we’re not completely sure of the time, but Poptropica usually opens the islands up to the public at 11am Eastern Time.
Since they have started releasing islands to members in the afternoon at 3pm Eastern Time, we may have to wait until then until Twisted Thicket Cheats are released to the public. Let’s cross our fingers and hope that Twisted Thicket is released at 11am like usual! Poptropica has already announced their 27th island, Poptropica Poptropolis Games Island, less than a week after launching Twisted Thicket Island! This was certainly an unexpected announcement, so we may be seeing an even faster release schedule for Poptropica Islands during the summer of 2012! As many of you already know, the newest island on Poptropica is almost out for members — Twisted Thicket Island! In its usual release style, Poptropica will be releasing Twisted Thicket Island in its entirety to Poptropica Members, along with an exclusive bonus quest. Free members in Poptropica will be given a playable preview on April 12, but won’t be able to complete the island until May 2, 2012.
We will have video walkthroughs for the entire island within a few hours of the release, so make sure to visit our Twisted Thicket Island Cheats page if you’re stuck!
As you Poptropica Insiders know, the creators of Poptropica post various pictures from upcoming islands in the Daily Pop. As the pictures for the upcoming island have come in, we’ve noticed a trend in all of the pictures that may tell us exactly what island is coming next. We think that all of the pictures point to a Poptropica Scandinavia Island next!
If you go through the Daily Pop and look at the pictures, you might see the trend as well. Of course, the sign that tipped us off is shown on the upper-left, saying “Beware the Nøkken”. Drawing from information in the Mythical Creatures Guide, we found that “Nøkken or Puken as he sometimes is called, is a dangerous and manipulative creature from Norwegian (Norway) folklore. The word ”Nøkk” comes from old Norse meaning seahorse. He roams in rivers, small waters and seas. In tales he live in waters with water lilies, so it would be easier to lure people closer to the water, especially children who wanted to pick the lilies.“
There are also some pictures of runic writing on stones, along with a few pictures of a Poptropican restaurant called “Björn’s Smörgåsbord”. A Smörgåsbord is a Scandinavian meal, served as a buffet, and originally came from Sweden. Runes and runic writing have been discovered in areas of Scandinavia, as well.
Finally, the pictures of what looks like ancient ruins, which almost made me throw my Scandanavian Island theory out of the window. I thought that it looked like the Lost City of Atlantis, so I did some research into where people think it might be and Scandinavia, and Sweden in particular, is suspected to be one of the locations of Atlantis!
It just seems like everything fits together, along with all the woodland-themed characters and critters! Do you think it will be Poptropica Scandinavian Island next?

Poptropica released Vampire’s Curse Island yesterday, March 1 2012, at 3pm Eastern Time after a one-hour delay from the original launch time of 2pm. We worked as hard as we could to get through the entire new island and member’s-only bonus quest yesterday so that we could have the video walkthroughs ready for all of you if you get stuck.
Don’t be embarrassed if you get stuck on the island. There were 3 of us working together on it, and there were many points where all 3 of us were stuck and had to work together to figure the puzzle out! Our full video walkthrough is posted below, but you can also go to our Vampire’s Curse Island cheats to see Part 1, Part 2 and the Bonus Quest video walkthroughs separately. We’re aware that the demo unfortunately ends rather early this time around, but in a few weeks, you’ll be able to get all the way to the end if you aren’t a Poptropica member!
Poptropica has given us an official release date and countdown for Vampire’s Curse Island! We’re only 2 days away, with the island scheduled to be released on March 1, 2012 at 2pm Eastern Time. We’ll be online and ready to march through the new island so we can provide all you Insiders with both a Vampire’s Curse Island video walkthrough and written walkthrough just as soon as we are done finishing the island.

Good morning Poptropicans! There’s some great news for all of you… Poptropica has released the trailer for Poptropica’s newest island — SOS Island.
As we already know from the SOS Island preview announcement, the new island will put us on a whale-watching expedition that crashes into an iceberg and it’s our mission to rescue everyone on the ship before it is too late.
